• 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Put butter/margarine, milk, sugar, and salt in medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Add:

  • 2 cups tiny white marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Stir to mix. Then beat with spoon for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into greased 8×8 pan. Cool. Cut into squares.

It’s all a sham since these instructions take more than the minimum five minute boil.
